I am a working mother trying to catch that unicorn of a perfect life balance. I have been married to my best friend, Stephen, for over 8 years and together we have created a crazy little family with our sweet daughter Ella (2), our two golden retrievers Jack and Gus, and our two cats Cooper and Bailey.

After spending a few months as a stay-at-home mom, I realized working makes me a better mother, wife, and person.

Writing is my favorite hobby. I am not a professional writer, I’m just a woman and mom who wants to share her thoughts with whomever will listen. I started writing because I believe it takes a village to help us make our way through this parenting gig. I share my working mother perspective and my parenting revelations, trials, errors, successes, and failures with the hope of helping at least one mom, or dad, to not feel so lonesome on this ride.

In addition to writing, I love to cook and travel. I have a love/hate relationship with exercise and I think ice cream and Oreos are good in any season. I am a Denver Broncos fan no matter the score. Family nap time  is always planned on the weekends, music makes me feel better, and I believe a “Friends” quote can be applied to just about any life situation.
